Undergraduate Scholarships – Non-EU only
Every year Birmingham University provides a number of scholarships recognizing the talents of international students, which will be applied towards the cost of tuition fees.
All non-EU international students enrolling on an undergraduate course in September 2020 will be eligible for a scholarship of up to £2,000. This is awarded based on academic background. The following courses are exempt from this scholarship:

Undergraduate Scholarships – EU only
To welcome all new EU undergraduate degree students starting in 2020, Birmingham University is giving away at least £150 worth of credit to spend in a host of ways, on books and a range of learning materials. Even better, it doesn't have to be repaid. The following courses are exempt from this scholarship:

Prompt Payment Bursary
If you pay your tuition fees in full before travelling to, or during your enrolment in the UK, you will be entitled to a £300 prompt payment discount. All first-year, full-time home, international and EU students who have settled in a 10 mile radius to their place of study are automatically inclined to university accommodation services only if they have ticked the box in the main application.

Foundation:
• Built Environment, Computing, Health Science, Sports Science, and Film and Technology: students must have a Mathematics qualification at GCSE-level or equivalent with a Grade C/4.

First Year:

Pre-Master’s:
• Art, Design and Fashion: students must submit a portfolio if they are entering the two-semester Art and Design program. Students must also submit a portfolio if they do not have an academic qualification in Art and Design.

Course-specific:
• BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies: students must have Criminal Record Check OR a letter of good conduct from the local authorities in their home country before an unconditional offer can be issued.
• BSc (Hons) Music Technology: students must have GCSE Music at grade 4 (C) or above, Music Theory grade 5, or proficiency of performance on one instrument equivalent to ABRSM or RockSchool Grade 5.
• MSc Construction Project Management: students must have an equivalent qualification in surveying, civil engineering, real estate or any other construction subjects.
• MSc Accounting and Finance: students need an undergraduate qualification in Accounting and Finance OR a business-related qualification with SIGNIFICANT accounting-related content.
